Just ignore Finlay who is hiding!! I love the lush green of the grass - memories of summer!! Not much green about in my garden today - it's all covered in snow!!
Best on black
Many thanks for your wonderful comments on my Flash of Red monthly view and also on my new car in the snow. I really appreciate your good wishes!!
@taffy@golftragic not sure how far I will get as the only colour I see is white- snow! We can’t get out as our road is a hill and we are watching cars unable to get back up! Might have to use old photos as I did for flash of red! Is it cheating?
@pamknowler I like what you did re processing a photo to 'fit' -- can't be cheating as by Year 6, we are focusing on developing a different set of skills, rather than a habit of daily photography or 'way of seeing the world.' I think it will be fun to watch what you come up with.
Just read the comment by @taffy in this thread. Hadn't thought of it that way, but she's absolutely right (as usual). If it's any comfort to you, I'm still posting photos from last December.
@golftragic@pamknowler My thoughts lately on why we're still on 365 (other than the obvious one of having developed friendships)
Year 1. Habit of photography and learning to view the world through a lens even when you don't have a camera in hand.
Year 2. You need to be organized, learning LR. iPad processing tools and picmonkey, but very simple
Year 3. Lots of processing tools to discover and test. Processing overtakes daily photographs - take some breaks here and there
Year 4. Photograph in chunks, stop worrying about posting daily at all, move to photo walks and using photos for a week or so
Year 5. Do whatever we feel like -- something photographic each day, but no longer even thinking about obligation of posting or commenting
Year 6. Not sure what this year brings...mostly just practicing new things and being a member of the community.
