Purple Bells by pamknowler

Purple Bells

For Rainbow 2018

I know they are called bluebells but I think they look more purple than blue. Taken last year in the spring.

An early upload for tomorrow as I am checking out the size of the image I have uploaded. My images have been too small for the last few days as I forgot what the settings should be following exporting some full size jpegs for my great niece Sophie. Many thanks to Taffy @taffy for coming to my rescue!!

I took the image into Topaz Textures to get rid of the vibrant green background.

Best on black I expect.
Lovely

They definitely do look purple. Some of my bluebonnet pictures look purple also. Maybe they have been crossed with some of the Texas A&M Burgundy here in Texas.

Came out great for the rainbow. Glad the size problem is now solved.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond no this was taken last year in the spring. We have deep snow and no flowers! I will probably use old photos for the rainbow challenge but I will be re- processing.

Definitely purple in my book. Gorgeous colour whatever. Sorry to hear you're buried in snow.

I do love bluebells. Mine are just sprouting the leaves in the garden and working their way up above the snow presently! I agree - bluebells are often more of a purply-blue to me too.

So good to have friends on 365 to help. I'll always favour purple over blue - nice blue(purple)bells!
