A black cat crossing your path can be unlucky for some. Some people think Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. I love these "old wives tales" and have so many memories of my mum quoting them as if they were true. Mind you if I spill salt I always throw it over my left shoulder - why??? LOL!!

This is the black cat who lives in the cut-de-sac opposite our house. He and his sister love to climb into the roof of next doors extension and sit and watch Finlay and George driving them both mad!! Deliberate provocation!!

I am completely unsuperstitious and just love winding up friends who are!! I walk under ladders, whistle backstage, put my shoes on the table, throw salt over the wrong shoulder and talk about Macbeth with my actor pals.......I am a bit wicked really!! Absolutely love this gorgeous black kitty. Fav.
Ahhh, I could never think of a black cat as unlucky! Sadly, however, I've read that superstitions persist, and black cats are often the last to be adopted! I currently have two and have had others in the past...seems pretty luck for me AND for them that they crossed my path!
