Chatsworth riverside ruin

Filling in a gap for yesterday but taken today.

This building is on the river bank at Chatsworth but there is no notice telling you what it was. The windows all have bars - was it a prison of some sort? Does anyone know when this was used and what for?
Don't remember seeing that building - you have framed it nicely and I like the sky

A building with no eyes! Looks strong enough - maybe had some use a long time ago!

Now you've really ignited my imagination. Don't have clue what it is, but would love to know. Love the shot anyway.

The building is the Old Corn Mill. If you put old corn mill into Google you will see a picture of it.

@kjarn I went to Chatsworth many times when I was a kid on school outings and also with my Mum too.

@kjarn I am amazed that some memories are still there so the school trip paid off.
