As we walk through the woods there are lots of children playing hide and seek and you can hear them calling to each other. This is an old ironstone quarry with wonderful undulating hills which the children and dogs love running up and down. I managed to get this shot with no children as I am not keen on taking shots of unknown children.
Best on black.
Still using the Lumix FZ300 and quite pleased with the clarity I am getting. Still more shots not very good and I am learning I must take my time with each shot. There seems to be a slight delay in the shutter and the taking of the shot - so different from my Canon 5D!! I am noticing I am taking more duff shots when trying to shoot the birds. They have moved by the time the camera reacts.
What a beautiful area for the children to be playing in. I no have a FZ200 but I don't notice a shutter delay. But may be I am just used to it as I do not have a DSLR.
I would love this area! When I was a kid, we used an area called "the bomb holes" where some craters were left in the woods from years before. In the Autumn, we filled them with leaves and then jumped and somersaulted off the surrounding trees into the deep pile of leaves.
