From yesterday's walk in the woods. If you like blackberries this is the year for them!! The bushes go up to the top of the hills and are completely covered with ripe berries. Not sure how you would be able to reach them to pick - I think they will get eaten by the birds. Not a fruit I like - too many berries!! It was only when I was processing this image that I noticed the long legs of this spider.

Definitely a blackberry year. My garden has loads and everywhere I go there seems to be fresh juicy snacks. I've just had few in the garden while bizarrely listening to a load of frogs in and around the pond croaking away like crazy as if it's spring !!!
I have a very similar image ... but I have two spiders on mine!!! I'll post it one day soon. The fruit is less ripe, though. I love brambles, especially in a jelly. I can't wait for ours to be ripe enough to pick!
