We had a lovely walk along the Embankment in town yesterday - I wanted to check the level of the River Nene which is extremely high.
When we got out of the car we saw that most of the swans were out of the river and on the field beside the car park. So many swans and of course I had to get a photo. I was concentrating on the group of swans and didn't see this one creeping up on me. His beak came very close to my phone and it was only my sister shouting out to me that stopped him getting too close!! Phew scary moment - I was standing behind a gate and thought I was safe from the swans!! LOL!!
It was an interesting walk trying to keep George from jumping into the river!! What's wrong with the boy? I told him I would not be jumping into the very fast flowing river after him!!
