Hi darling fancy a cuddle?

I was in the garden with the boys yesterday evening before it got dark when I heard a commotion across on the other side of the valley. It was our resident pheasant couple and it was obvious the way he was chasing her that he had some ideas in mind. She did not appear interested at all!
You can see them here in amongst the wild primroses which are growing all over the hill side all the way down the valley.
Awww, how sweet and funny! Love your title!

Well he does look very dapper doesn't he, what a shame she doesn't seem interested.

(living-in-hope...........hahahahaha!) Yes, a gorgeous photo...he is a handsome one! I can't imagine primroses growing wild when we have to buy them in little pots and hope they grow when we plant them! How nice that you have their company...always so good to have the presence of "pets" we don't need to look after!

@Weezilou so funny last night at dusk when the boys went into the garden. Both pheasants were in our garden! I don’t know who was the more shocked - the bids or the dogs? The birds suddenly took off with a lot of noise and a flurry - not the best birds for flight! The dogs came to life and charged down the garden- they couldn’t catch a cold yet alone a huge pheasant! 😂😂😂
