Lavender

The best thing about staying in a strange house for all this time is discovering what plants are in the garden. Spring is bringing so many different flowers into bloom. I love lavender and I was so pleased to see it coming out this week. I have never been successful growing lavender myself - I think I kill it with kindness and overwater it.

It's funny, some lavenders like it dry and others completely flop if you don't water them! I don't think I ever get it quite right LOL. This is a very pretty image indeed
