This is our new home for the next few weeks until we are hopefully able to return home.
It is a fabulous cottage in glorious gardens with a view out to Lundy Island when it is clear. Today there has been a sea mist along the coast and we couldn't see Lundy Island - I am looking forward to getting a good view.
George went off exploring the gardens as soon as we arrived while we were unpacking the car. My sister went in search of him and I could hear her calling him in the woods. I went to find them and there was George in the middle of a muddy pond which has dried up in the dry weather leaving a thick mud in the middle. Luckily there is a bathroom on the ground floor and George was quickly put into the shower. I wouldn't mind but I bathed him yesterday!! I am going to have to keep an eye on adventurous George I can see!!
Wow this looks a lovely place...you struck gold with this one! I’ve been dying to see it. Nice smooth lawn to sit on & play with Finley & George. Just saying to someone else I bet you never imagined living away from home for so long & on top of that who would have thought all this would have happened when we let the New Year in?
Nice new roof, no leaking there!
Well, I can think of worse places to be Locked Down in, it looks truly beautiful. I know you will be wanting to get back to your own home but at least this gives you new areas to explore and photograph while you are waiting!
How nice to have gardens and views. A nice way to endure the quarantine, I believe. Well when my dog Mo got muddy it dried and we brushed it out of his fur. But we were in Lubbock and the mud was just wet sand. George was just trying to go to the spa where they put mud packs on your face! 😊
What a great place to have as home while you wait. It looks cheerful and spacious. And the light is wonderful. Enjoy!! Looks like you'll have puppy baths in your immediate future too.
Looks like a lovely place to be until your home is ready. Hope you are able to relax here for a while, although having just read about George's antics I don't think relax is the right word.
Nice new roof, no leaking there!
