The farm on the hill. These are our neighbours who we haven't met but we see their tractors in the fields up to midnight!! Apart from Hugglepit House where Pete and Denise live which is just down the lane from us these are our nearest neighbours. It's a very different life when you only see the postman in his van and the odd delivery van pass by. I don't think I would want to be so isolated in the winter months. This little bubble of isolation has been perfect for our months out of our home. A lovely place for social distancing!!
It is very odd living here in North Devon - one of our favourite places - and because of the Coronavirus situation everything is closed down and we haven't been out every day visiting all the beautiful places up and down the coast. We have missed walking on the beach every day and although we are now allowed to drive to the beach to walk I think it is going to be very crowded this weekend as the weather improves.I think we will go early in the morning before any day trippers can get there!! How nervous we have become!!
You are fortunate you found such a great place during lockdown. Our restrictions have been relaxed too but we are still being very careful. Many people aren't abiding by the social distancing though, fingers crossed we don't go backwards.
