What do you mean - it's for the birds!!

Finlay was keeping an eye on me as I put the cut fur into the empty lantern. I am hoping the birds will be taking the soft fur to line their nests. Just be careful - Finlay the hunter is on watch!!

We use to have a Marema Sheep dog and the birds loved it when he was shedding.. all the nest were fur lined..

brilliant! I have seen videos of dogs lying on their patios in the sun and birds come down and grab bits of fur directly from the source - this is much safe for the birds!

@terryliv @jgpittenger the cat was eating the little fat pellets not the mealworms. He keeps coming and sitting in the bush under the bird feeder. The boys scent he has been in the garden and it drives them mad!

Now that is a fabulous idea. We leave our dog's newly trimmed fur in the yard for the birds, but I'm not sure we've ever had any takers!
