Sadly this little baby became number 4 in the list of Finlay's victims. That was bad enough but later in the afternoon there was another baby in the garden and of course Finlay caught it. Number 5!! I am so sad that the blackbird babies fledged this week while we are still at home. They fledge before they can fly!! Mind you the black cat who comes every day was also on the lookout for something to hunt!! Nature in the raw!! Sadly it's Finlay nature to hunt - he is a terrier!!
Waiting for the doctors to open this morning as I think I have conjunctivitis. I have Bletheritis and have to keep my eyes clean with special wipes but the last couple of days my eyes feel full of grit and they are both sore - all stuck this morning. An over the phone appointment I expect (how does that work?) and hopefully something to sort out my blurry vision - quickly!! I am driving to Devon on Saturday morning - hopefully!!
I remember you having conjuctivitis last year when you went to Devon! I hope you get the stuff you need to sort it out speedily.
RIP to this sweet little bird - you have preserved him forever at least.
Oh dear your poor birds....even I will be glad when you go off to Devon! Such a sweet capture!
Don’t talk to me about doctors surgeries! Ours is useless at the moment! Harry’s X-ray result came back yesterday, over a week after he had it. They rang up this morning to make a telephone appointment....a week today just for a quick five minute discussion....they said it’s not urgent.....might not be to them! The sooner they get back to proper appointments the better imho!
@happypat it’s so frustrating isn’t it Pat trying to talk to doctors by phone. When I finally got through to the doctors at 8.30 am I was number 20 in the queue. I gave up and went to see the pharmacist. She was very helpful and gave me drops which she said the doctor would have told me to buy as it’s an over the counter medicine for conjunctivitis! So pleased I gave up on the doctor’s queue in the phone!
RIP to this sweet little bird - you have preserved him forever at least.
I hope your eyes are ok
