Yesterday was my friend Amanda’s birthday and we went round for a buffet lunch in the garden in the warm sunshine.
Amanda’s mum made a beautiful chocolate birthday cake and asked her SIL Roy if he could get the candles for her as she couldn’t get to the shop.
You can imagine our surprise when Roy brought the cake out with what looked like rocket fuelled candles on fire on top of the cake! Such fun! What a delicious chocolate cake it was!
