My lovely owl is all wrapped up for Christmas and I thought he looked so pretty with the coloured lights draped round him.
Had a lovely visit yesterday afternoon from two of Barb's sons and their wives. It's the first time we have all got together for over two years and it was extra special with lots of laughs. Sophie came too with a hang over!! My goodness these youngsters drink a lot. She had been out until 3am Saturday night and next week she and her boyfriend are going to a "Rave" in London - whatever that is? LOL! I must say I do feel a bit nervous with all this mixing that she and the rest of the family seem to be doing. Covid seems to be gathering pace and more and more people are getting it. I do worry about our plans for Christmas when we are all getting together again. I seem to be the only one on the family who is concerned! Perhaps I need to relax and go with the flow?
Well I’m a great one for not getting too worried but I’m not sure what to make if this new strain. Are they making a big think about it because they want us all boosted or is it a real danger…who knows we will have to wait & see. The young will carry on with their lives regardless…..who would blame them? Our son in law tested posit e today but it didn’t say what strain it was…he has no symptoms at all up to now.

Our daughter's best friend in London is double vaxed and has now come down with Covid and is quite sick - including the dreaded difficulty in breathing symptom. Its not over yet
@terryliv the news is very worrying Terry! Hope your daughters friend makes a good recovery! My niece in Devon has long covid and is struggling. I have been protecting Barb all this time and am finding it hard to relax now!
