Topic of the Day - Window

It really should have been Feet but as mine were aching after my long walk in the snow with my dog Finlay I decided to sit down and take a shot of my dining room window (bonus word) which looks out onto the road and the cul-de-sac opposite. I like to watch the world go by. My orchids are doing well on the window sill.

Pretty! Really like the juxtaposition of those orchids against such a snowy background. Your house must be snuggly warm :)

@spankyjane @salza Thanks for your comments. Its snowing again and it looks like I will be digging out the drive again in the morning!! Its lovely and warm inside though!! It is a nice view of the fileds in the distance - I have been watching children tobogganing down the hill.

@jannykoster @phillchilton @willowdragon Thank you so much for your positive comments. I was a bit disapointed with todays shot as I thought it didn't really show the difference inside and out of the window. Yes Phill I had to use flash bounced off the wall - otherwise to get the orchids to show the sky outside was completely blown.

My eyes are really drawn to the blue glass and the cream orchids against the white sky background. I like it as a photo...its real! As for the snow... Grr, had enough of it now!
