Finlay why are you on the wrong side of the gate? (Best looked at large on black)
I had to put up this gate to stop Finlay getting the post which he insists on tearing into tiny pieces!! I managed to get Gate and Door into this shot plus one confused dog!! LOL!!
This is great! Lovely Finlay! Jinks leaps up and down at letterbox height, barking, when the post comes in, but he hasn't yet learnt how to open it!!!!!!!!!!

Hazel I had a new front door fitted so that the letter box was in the middle of the door and not at the bottom like the old one. I intended to fit a basket onto the door to catch the mail but cannot find one to fit as the box is too wide. I had to get the gate following Finlay's bid for freedom and it has solved the mail problem. It doesn't stop him barking though when the postman pops something through!! We then have a fine game with him trying to get to the post when I open the gate - he is soooo naughty!! LOL!!
Can I borrow Finlay to attack all the junk mail coming through my door lately, oh and I am having grief with the taxman so would genuinely like to say "the dog ate my tax return".

David I was waiting for a letter from the tax man and Finlay managed to grab it from the letter box and dash out into the garden with it. We had a tug of war and he only chewed one corner!! That was when I decided to get the gate!! LOL!! Finlay is going mad today as I am unable to walk him - he is like a coiled spring!! Help needed!!
@cdonohoue@jesperani Thanks Cathy and Jennifer!! I thought the gate and door were a bit boring so opened the gate and Finlay rushed through thinking he was going for a walk. A carefully placed treat made him pop his head up.
