After our walk this morning Finlay was hyper and kept running into the garden barking at all the birds!! I popped upstairs and when I came down there he was fast asleep on my dining table!! Peace at last!! I will wait for him to wake up and then tell him off for being on the table!! Naughty Finlay!! LOL!!
9th April - I have just spotted Finlay on the PP!! How wonderful!! Many thanks to you all for your great comments and Favs which got him there!! He is lovely!! Oh I have just remembered I am not talking to him - he has been very naughty today!! LOL!! Wow still there on the 10th!! Still there on the 11th - my goodness this is a record!! Finlay says a BIG THANK YOU to everyone - yes I am talking to him again!! LOL!!

He has taken charge of the dining table and sits on it to look out of the window and watch the world pass by - barking when he sees a cat,dog, bird, person, car - well anything really!! I do have an easy wipe cloth on it which comes off when I am using the dining table. Just don't tell anyone who comes to dinner that Finlay has been sitting there!! LOL!! Who rules my house I wonder? @gozoinklings Catherine - His feet were so dirty after our walk he looked brown which is the main reason I converted to B&W!!

oh that is sooo cute! Love the B & W....I've been thinking about getting a little doggie like that...what kind is it? I just need to be sure I'm ready. :)
@megmills thanks so much Meg for your great comments! Finlay is a West Highland Terrier (a Westie). He is just over a year old and I love him to bits! He is my first dog and life has changed so much! A wonderful companion but he is hard work. He loves to go on the field when I walk him and play with hid friends which is great as he is well socialised and very friendly to other dogs and he loves people. But he is white and gets soooo dirty! I do see lots of Westies around. All pristine but their owners never take them off the lead. Finlay has such fun but it's hard work keeping him clean! As you can see from my pics he rules the roost! I took early retirement and had lots of time and for me it was the perfect time to get a dog - I wouldn't be without him now!
@quietpurplehaze Many thanks Hazel!! Finlay is out of favour today!! He got up on to the top level of my garden - my fault as I left the gate open!! Anyway he would not come in to my call, treats, hotdogs, calling "walkies" and he ran round and round through the bushes. I caught his collar at one point and he tried to bite me!! Very naughty Finlay!! I left him to it in the end and he has dug a huge hole under the wall between my garden and next door - his bid for freedom. He finally came in and I have had to bath him again as his face and feet were so muddy!! Anyone want a Westie? LOL!!
I've probably told you the story of somebody who asked me if Jinks was a dirty Westie! I can just imagine the fun that Finlay had running rings around you. We had similar with Jinks a few years ago when he escaped from our friends' garden into their neighbours' garden. He had huge fun, coming close to us and then running away at the last minute and like Finlay would not come for any of theusual treats. In the end Ray caught him by rugby-tackling him. He's 10 now and just calmed down a tiny tiny bit! I think that Finlay is quite a big younger?

what a sweet little sleepy guy he reminds me of my little grubby and of course he would get away with it too! he is so perfect he can do what ever he wants!!
