I went to the Ryker shoe factory outlet this week as I "needed" some walking sandals. Three pairs later - well two walking sandals and a pretty red pair I was very pleased with my purchases. My sister kept asking are you sure your need them? I just had a quick look in my shoe box and seem to have found quite a few pairs of sandals!! LOL!! You can't have too many can you? Hee Hee!!
@amyamoeba@httpgeffed@kazlamont@darrenboyj@carolmw@jesperani@elaine55 Many thanks for your lovely comments!!
Elaine I have big feet and wide too - size 42 D fitting at least. I hate my feet which is why they don't appear today wearing the sandals!! LOL!! I walked into the shoe shop and just asked for the widest fitting sandals - this is why I had to buy 3 pairs - get them when you can!! These felt so comfortable when standing in the shop - I just know when i wear them they will cripple me!! All of you out there with tiny dainty feet don't realise how lucky you are!! My aim in the photo was to make big sandals look as small as possible!! LOL!!
I'm so jealous. I have only been able to wear sneakers since my foot surgery. I should start trying others, but afraid! Love them all. They look like good ones, too. Have not heard of that brand.
@phillchilton@wind_of_the_sothern_sea@pixiemac@colie@yonnie@danette Many thanks to you all for your great comments!! Very much appreciated!! Arefin and Colie - thanks I have tagged it as you suggested. @pixiemac Sarah how I would love to walk round with bare feet but sadly I can't. @danette Danette I have a foot problem called Plantar Faciitus (prob not spelt like that) and my feet are very painful underneath to walk. These sandals have soles that are called antistress and they really are good for walking. Not that pretty but well worth investigating for your feet - they might help!!
@pamknowler Thanks, Pam. I had plantar fasciitis, too, about 6 years ago. Very painful, indeed. I hope you are exercising your feet. Had all my toes fixed, joints removed, tendons severed. Was a bugger of a recovery. Just now released from therapy. Have worn flip flops a few times but they hurt! Toes are not yet fully functional.
Great shot & your "testimonial" has swung me in favor of Ryker's - I also have a similar problem and the search for decent and durable shoes is eternal! (but always fun!) I like your composition and dof and the red ones definitely hit the pretty button - so many "good, comfortable" shoes just settle for the "serviceable" category!
