This is the best of a bad lot - I hate doing selfies!!! Anyway I had to mow the lawn today before the rain comes back so I thought I would have a go. Maybe one day I will be able to pose and not feel an idiot!! Finlay was watching me and I am sure he was laughing!!
I think we are all our worse critics! I think you are beautiful and I love how your clothing matches the mower which blends well with the yard. It all ties in together! Brilliant!
You must not be so hard on yourself. A beautiful shot, and like Michelle said, everything looks so wonderful together. You found the perfect spot in the yard to shoot the picture. Great job.
Sometimes easier when you have a friend (like a lawnmower) with you. I think this looks like a natural shot and you look like you are enjoying your mowing session!
@smellychelli@yonnie@lucypics How kind you all are!! Thank you for your lovely comments - you are all so supportive!! I did the selfie today as I have lost half a stone in the last two weeks. So this is a kind of "before" picture. I have a long way to go in my new "healthy eating" project but I think if I challenge myself to put up a new selfie at every 7 lbs that will be an incentive for me. Anyway thank you again for being so nice!!
@janpenny@quietpurplehaze@phillchilton@jo13@mercuria@bizziebeeme Thank you all so much for your lovely comments!! Luckily Its a smallish lawn with very patchy grass so it doesn't take too long to do!! I am trying to repair my garden from the assault of Finlay the puppy last year!! I only allow him onto the actual garden on a lead now as he digs holes and digs up any plants I put in!! Very naughty dog!!
@jodimuli@danette@willowdragon@busylady@pixiemac Many thanks to you all for your lovely comments!! You are all very kind!! @pixiemac Thanks Sarah - I appreciate that - its been hard this week - boredom in the evenings is my big problem!!
I love the idea of a selfie for each 7lb milestone - it'll be a great series - that, of course, is as long as it's someone else's selfie! I have a pathological fear of the lens side of the camera - (my story - sticking to it!).
@pixiemac Thanks Sarah - I appreciate that - its been hard this week - boredom in the evenings is my big problem!!
