These are from my sister Barbara's collection and artistically arranged by her!! I am hoping she will leave the big colourful one behind!!

Wow! So beautiful! I used to live on the Oregon Coast and we never found such beautiful specimens!

That big bright one is a paua shell found in NZ! They are taken just off the coast near me as well as lots of other places. We have lots of paua shell jewellery which can have other names like, abalone.

@maggiemae thanks Maggiemae for the info! I asked my sister what it was but she didn't know. I bought a silver necklace when I was in NZ with a Maori charm which has Paua on it. I can see now it's the same.
