Topic of the Day - Getting Active

I am going on holiday in July to the Peak District and in my "get fit plan" I am in training with Finlay doing lots of walks. I am hoping to be able to do some of the walks in the books. I love Derbyshire but I know it is very hilly. I managed a bit of the South Downs Way so who knows what I will be able to do? At least it is a beautiful county so I am hoping for some good photo oportunities!!
Cool shot, Pam. And you know you can't do it all in one day but you can build up to getting farther and farther in your walks. I love walking, so much to see and so much to think about if you are alone.
@sansjuan Thanks Nita. Yes I am having to take it easy as my knees and feet are a bit dodgy but as I am slowly loosing some weight I am hoping that will help. I have always loved walking and have had many walking holidays with friends. I am going away with my sister and her friend and not sure that they are walkers. I am just looking forward to getting out with Finlay in the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire!! We don't go until the 20th July so i have a few more weeks "training". If I can't walk far at least I will be able to take some photos!!
as you say, looks even better on black .... you and Finlay will have a great time no matter what distance you can walk. Hubby really struggles with arthritis in just about every joint, but is slowly building up his fitness walking around golf courses....and zoos with me!
