23rd August 2014 - Frog

This little frog was in the garden just sitting by a flower pot. I took a few shots making sure Finlay was indoors. We seem to be getting quite a few frogs in the garden - someone must have a pond somewhere nearby. Finlay has been digging holes under a retaining wall and when we tried to fill the holes in with gravel two frogs came out. They enter my garden at their own risk!! Finlay hunts anything that moves!!

Many thanks for your lovely comments on yesterday's shots - very much appreciated. By the way the sausages from the butchers shop were delicious as was the pork pie!!
So sweet, great in black and white

Fantastic!!!! And it works so well for a high structure shot as I can see all the details in the frog, it's eyes are so clear, and even the sand is as clear as can be. Great one!

This is wonderful in B&W - what a neat little fellow, I do hope Finlay doesn't discover the frogs. Though I am not sure I would like too many frogs hanging around the house. A fav on the shot. Oh, yes, I had a good time while I was gone, I have been home for a few days be we have been working on the house so I am just now back to 365. And it may be a short visit as I may have 3 weeks of jury duty starting next week. I will find out Wednesday. A little bit of me wants to do it as it is an interesting case but most of me does not want to spend the time on it. I'd miss Zeke's 3rd birthday.
