George spends all his walk sniffing the ground as he walks along just like a bloodhound!! His nose gets very dirty!! He then kicks the dirt and leaves with his back legs - do not stand behind him!! I don't know why dogs do the kicking but it does get George very dirty!!
@happypat George is definitely missing Finlay and is very quiet now. He won’t eat any biscuits or treats- I think he only ate them before to stop Finlay getting them. No I am not getting another dog! 🤪
They do that kicking thing to mark their territory. They have scent glands in the back of their feet so when they kick back they are trying to leave their scent behind
