17th January 2014 - Moon

A really bright moon tonight. I have converted to B&W in NikEfex pro which gave me a bit more detail. Funny how you can see much more definition along the top of the moon. Hand held using my 100-400mm lens.

Wonderful! The top edge is slightly in shadow as the moon is waning, so the craters etc show up marvellously. Well done missus!

@lambda I took this shot with my Canon 5D Mark 11 with the canon 100-400mm lens - hand held. The lens has IS so that helps a lot and I don't breath as I take the shot!
