22nd August 2014 - Delicious!!

After we left the resevoir we drove on to the next village where there is the most wonderful butchers shop. I liked this sign outside. We bought lots of things - what a tempting shop - such high quality meats and pies!!

@janiskay I hadn't heard of a Diamond Pie either so checked out the web site for the butchers "Sauls of Stratton!. It seems it is a pie made with pork, chicken, pate and red wine.
