5th November 2014 - Two trees

Lots of very old trees in Tissington Village. As you can see too late to capture any colour!! I love the old wall that runs through the village.

Having had the pleasure of visiting rural England a couple of times, I think it's "all about the wall". They're so special to see as they're not found like this just anywhere... Lovely!

I like the contrast of the bricks, grass and then the tall trees. Since color isn't playing a large role here, I wonder how b&w would be for highlighting the textures even more. You'd lose the blue sky, but it's not that deep a blue so might be worth the tradeoff.

I'd agree on the b and w. Great comp. It looks like something has come along and had a big bite of leaves and branches. Glad all quiet for finlay today
