I am so pleased I have finally got a clear shot of my little mouse - I think he is a Wood Mouse. I have often seen him rushing from under the ivy to get some seeds from the bird table and then whoosh he is gone!! He is so fast!! My sister saw him this morning and called out and I came in with the camera and my 100-400mm lens on and waited. Not for long as he came out from under the ivy and sat for a moment before running for the food. Got him!! Finlay rushed out as he saw me with the camera but luckily the mouse was in his house!!
I am so behind on commenting on all your shots!! So very sorry but life is getting in the way I am afraid and I am only just about getting time to take/upload my shots each day. I do have a quick look through the news feed but I am aware I need to comment more!! Not sure when things will calm down but I will do my best to catch up with you all!!
Uploaded for my alternate album
What a wonderful surprise to see this on the PP this morning!! Thank you so much for your many fab comments and Favs!!
What a great shot and terrific effort to capture a mouse Pam.
BTW, my 365 site has a virus and some hacker is posting derogatory comments about me under my name
Wonderful! Lucky you to have such a visitor and so well captured. I agree on Wood Mouse, they have more rounded ears. also the textures of his surroundings shows him off so well! fave!
Okay, now I am speechlessly impressed! You saw one of these, and took a picture instead of screaming and fleeing the scene. And it's cute, for the second I could look at it without leaving the image behind. Congrats on PP!
@taffy As my sister says it is cute outside in the garden and I want to take a photo of it. If it was in the house I would be screaming "how disgusting" and trying to kill it! Very true!
