Well not in my house thankfully - he was in the bird house when we first spotted him this afternoon. He then dashed back to his nest under the ivy. When he comes out he pauses for a brief moment allowing me to capture a few shots. Finlay knew I had spotted something and went dashing out into the garden and scared the mouse away. Mind you there is a large pile of sunflower seeds in the birdhouse so I am sure he will be back - it's his regular takeaway!! He does look rather well fed!!
Best on black!!
Uploaded for my alternate album
Wow just seen this on PP this morning as well as my little dunnock and yesterday's goldfinch! Three on PP at same time! Best ever! What a great week! Many thanks for getting them there!
Super clear shot. He has very distinctive markings. I had bird feeders hanging by my dog kennel and it invited rats which I will not stand so both were dealt with.
They look cute until you find out they have been someplace that you don't want they to be. It is a fact that if a mouse can get its head in, under or through something it can get the rest of its body. So It doesn't take much of a hole for them to get into your house.
How on earth can you get a shot of a mouse? Do you put a sedative or something in the feed to slow them down? Great shot Pam and once again, congrats on the trifecta
