Back really bad today so I am staying close to the house. Luckily my nephew Colin is here and he took Finlay and his dog Ella for a very long walk!! The dogs are now collapsed in their beds!!
I took this shot yesterday as we were sitting outside in the garden in the lovely warm sunshine. I have never seen this tall plant before and just wonder if anyone knows what it is? Each day another yellow flower opens.
I am thinking that if I have another bad night I may drive home tomorrow instead of Friday. My own bed is calling me!!
@Cherrill I have googled Verbascum but I am not sure this is the same the flowers are only at the top. I have taken another photo of the whole plant - see my extras album. Thanks for your help!!
