This was our first walk on the beach since we arrived on 20th March!! At last we are allowed to go to the beaches. It was raining first thing this morning but it had stopped by the time we went on the beach. As you can see there was only a couple of other people on the beach with their dogs. Perfect for social distancing!! It will be a different picture if/when the sun comes out and it warms up although when the tide is out there really is plenty of room to be able to keep away from other people. That is Appledore on the other side of the river where we were sitting on Saturday in the sunshine!!
It really felt good to be back on the beach we love - almost like a holiday!! What a great birthday I am having!!
Did the boys have a swim....plenty of space there, will be extra lovely tomorrow when the sun is shine brightly! Deck chair weather! Happy birthday Pam!
Two months in this neighbourhood and not allowed to go there?!!! Really not getting your money's worth! THIS is what I'd go there for!!! Glad you have it now for the rest of your stay!
@Weezilou It is such a pleasure to be allowed to go to the beaches now. Luckily Instow seems to be quiet unlike some other beaches I am hearing about. We are definitely going to be making the most of the beach for the remainder of our stay. It may be a long time before we can travel to the beach again.
