13th February - Ashes

Another one taken today for Ashes to ashes, dust to dust - the words said at a funeral. This old graveyard had some really old gravestones but these three caught my eye as they are all the same family. I found this quite moving. I loved this old graveyard and will return when its a bit warmer!! Another one for the Extras folder.

this is awesome. I viewed large. Lovely graveyard. - I was reading the dates and names. - makes you wonder what their lives were like.

@pamknowler I just went to one of the graveyards around me last week and got my daily picture, so nothing morbid to me either... then of course I did work in a funeral home for 5 years doing office work and body removal so I might not be one to judge the "morbid" factor on anything. ;)

How we deal with death is as important as how we deal with life. Honoring those that have past with photos of their final resting places reminds us to life life to the fullest.
