Second attempt at Forced Perspective. Still not got it right. I struggled to get both the marble and the pot of marbles in focus - this was the best I could do. Back to the drawing board - again!! LOL!!
You're getting there. I think Finlay works even though it isn't as large a pot as you'd have wanted. It's great to see you posting your attempts too!! I need to do one for my get-pushed and am realizing these are challenging!!
@salza Same here Sally!! I think it might be easier if you had a helper to hold the object you are using so that you can then look through the viewfinder and get the placing correct!! My arms arn't long enough!! LOL!!
I wonder if you closed your aperture a little bit, the marbles in the back might be in a clearer focus? If that makes the photo too dark, bump up the ISO...
But really, I have no idea. It's just a thought.
Thanks for that Michelle. I was using f/22 in this shot and used flash off camera and still couldn't get both in focus. Perhaps if I try it again but in brighter light and up the ISO as you suggest that might make a difference? When I moved the marble to get them both in focus they were too close together and the marble did not appear large. I think I will try something else! Lol!
But really, I have no idea. It's just a thought.
