This is the first Banded demoiselle I have seen this year and I had the wrong lens with me. This is taken with my 70-200mm and given a tight crop!! Must take my macro lens out with me next time!!
Terrific capture no matter what the lens. I find my telephoto sometimes works better for these as I don't need to be so close. I can't wait for the mozzies to go away as I'm totally housebound at the moment!
