My sister's creation - our new tiny catus garden. I love cacti although I have never tried to grow them so this is a first. Fingers crossed we don't kill them off in the first week!! LOL!!
Well, nothing short of *spectacular*! I recently bought one little barrel cactus like yours with the flowers, but it's pretty forlorn compared to the beauty of yours! You're going to have to really work hard at it to kill these babies! Water lightly (pour the water over them) and give them sunlight (for you Londoners, it's that bright spot in the sky when the clouds part ;) At the baby shower before Bodhi was born, the take home gifts were little cacti with the tag, "Nurture them and watch them grow" Two years later, the ones she has have grown wonderfully! So congratulations to you on this blessed event...nurture them and watch them grow!
My son has a cactus that his two young cousins bought him a year ago for his birthday. It is in some dark corner of his bedroom and I don't think it has ever been watered or tended and it looks fine so I'm sure you won't be killing these off in a hurry. What pretty colours.
