On the farm where we stayed they have built a fabulous wedding venue - I will put up some pics another day. This is the view from outside the new building where some people may like to get married. If they want they can get married in the pergola overlooking the lake. I think it would cost an arm and a leg to hold your wedding here but what a fabulous place should you be so inclined!!
HDR - 3 bracketed shots. I think it may be a little over cooked - what do you think? @taffy
Uploaded for my extras album - sorry for the mass upload - trying to fill some gaps.
Interesting to see the HDR effect here. I think if your goal was natural, it's a little too...., but if your goal was to create an effect that captures elegance and kind of a timeless look at an estate, this does it well. I could see this as a spread across the top of their brochure, for example. Or a little more exaggerated, it could become a water color or oil painting looking result. What this does particularly well is bring out almost every blade of grass, details in the change of pattern across the layers, etc. The only reason it doesn't look 'natural,' I think, is because our eye usually doesn't pick up that kind of detail!
This HDR is packed with detail everywhere you look. The composition and clarity are both excellent and the vista gives a very good feel for the subject. I agree with @taffy re the HDR effect per se, though I think you'd lose a lot of that great detail if you used a water-colour effect on the shot. As it is, that grass is so clear and so lush I can just about smell it. Personally, I find the grass looks far too bright green, but I strongly suspect that's because in this part of Australia we very rarely see grass that brightly coloured. In other words, I'd ignore my thoughts in that department.
