22nd August 2014 - Goodbye sunshine

We sat in the sun this morning enjoying the view until these heavy clouds came over. Good to get out and see the lovely countryside.

Converted to B&W using silver Efex using high structure and contrast. We are concentrating on structure in our mentoring group this week.

Great b&w for the exercise Pam. I love the way you've processed the shot. The layers of foreground land and water juxtaposed with those pregnant clouds creates a really moody shot. where the observer is just waiting for the weather to break with a bang and pouring rain.
