We went to Milton Keynes this morning and look what shop I found!! I am thinking about upgrading my computer and switching from PC to Mac. I popped in the shop and checked out about the courses you can do with them (I feel I will need help). I couldn't stay too long today as I was with my sister who was not very interested. I will return!!
I love my iPhone and my mini iPad but I wouldn't go for a iMac as the 2 people I know who have them find them difficult to use for docs and for photos. The shop looks great though.
I've made a career of computers and technology and for 20 years was diehard PC. I switched to Mac after getting into photography and spent the next year kicking myself for not switching sooner. Im pretty sure the gate to heaven will look something like your image. :)
I always think that the Mac is great until something goes haywire and then because you are so far removed from the action, it is bloody difficult to work out what is going on. (In a former life, I managed the second largest Mac installation in Australia)
My husband and daughter's favourite shop! The house is full of apple products and we all love them. Upgraded our iMac last year to one with a faster processor and lots of memory and definitely haven't looked back.
Pam, my IT professionals (husband, son and son in law) had me a desktop pc built that is as spec'd up as a mac, without the need for me to have to change from a Windows environment (I did have a macbook, but it took me so long to find my way around as I am so Window trained LOL!) Worth a consider if you are very Windows! And.....the boys said it would be difficult for them to help me on a mac...........which kind of swung it for me!
@pixiemac When I bought my present PC Sarah I had to make the same decision Mac or PC? At that time I was living in Redhill and my friends husband was my computer expert and he only knew PCs. Now I am in Wellingborough I don't have a handy expert and people keep telling me that I will get less problems with a Mac. I am hesitating once again because I have only used PCs and worry I wont be able to work out what to do. I will have to decide sometime soon or I will just have to delete all my pics off the hard drive and start again!! I hate computers!! LOL!!
