30th April 2015 - I need more water with the gin!! by pamknowler

30th April 2015 - I need more water with the gin!!

I don't know what was up with this chaffinch today. He sat for ages on the fence all puffed up. Then as I watched he leaned over to the side - he looked so funny!! He looks drunk!!LOL!!

See my other shot of the chaffinch coming in to land

Great capture Pam. He does look drunk! I've just set up my camera on a tripod to see if I can catch some of the birds who have recently started visiting my garden. Wonder if I'll get any as good as your bird shots?
May 2nd, 2015
@jillhempsall Good luck Jill. I just love taking the birds in my garden. I take all my shots hand held with my Canon 5D mark 11 and 100-400mm lens. I have ordered the Mark 111 and am hoping I will get better focus and more fps. Looking forward to seeing your shots!!
