For my Mentoring Group. This is just one of the shots I took with the sparkling lake in the background. the sun blew out most of the bokeh which I have cropped out. I took this one into Silver efex to see if I could retrieve anything. Information only - don't worry about comments.

Information only - one of the blown out bokeh shots. The specular highlights looked fabulous through the camera (100-400mm lens) but when I put them on the PC most of the shot was blown out. This has been cropped.
@jgpittenger I have to look this up Jane - I know I have read about it but can't remember. This is by accident so don't know what I did different to my other shots. Just noticed that the shapes were hexagonal!!
Wow, you have octagonal bokeh! That is so cool. It does look a little blown out here, and I'm wondering if you upped the shadows on the teasels, if that would lessen the contrast?
