I thought you might be interested to see the male kingfisher cleaning out the nest. Meanwhile the female sat on a post and watched him. Very refreshing!! Not sure if they take it in turns but for about half an hour he flew in and out of the nest dropping bits into the water below. It was after all this activity that they flew onto a branch and the mating began. Perhaps he has to prove what a good husband he will be!! LOL!!
