Mary Jane and Molly having a cuddle and a tickle. Molly loves her big sister and is trying to follow her wherever she goes. She is not walking yet but can get a quite a speed crawling. My heart breaks when I think of the struggle life may bring for Molly. Then I look at her happy face and my heart melts!!
Such a sweet face Molly has, she will be loved all her life but we do worry. Big sister will always be there for her! Lovely photo of your two girls Pam.
Wonderful shot of the sisters - my only close connection with a Downs young girl (well, she's now nearly 40) is how happy she always is. I've known her since she was about 5 and would hear her singing on the swing. She'd just make you smile to be around her and still does.
Pam, I agree with you. I have a Downs Syndrome cousin, age 24, as well as a 3 year old great granddaughter who was born with muscular dystrophy. It does break my heart.... but my cousin is quite the artist and sells her designs on cards at their local farmers market. Our little one is still struggling to even feed herself..... A difficult road for her and her family.
@pandorasecho Thanks you so much Dixie for your encouragement and thank you so much for sharing Lance's story. He has achieved so much and I can see he has been a blessing to you and your family!!
