For our mentoring group's theme - Natural HDR.

Found I had managed to load Photmatix Pro onto my new Mac - not sure where it was hiding before!! LOL!!

Using some bracketed shots taken when I visited Chatsworth recently. Using my fisheye lens.

Uploaded for my extras album

So pleased I have found Photomatix!! I have watched the video link you gave us Taffy and it was very helpful. I need to get out and take some shots using Manual exposure as he suggests . This was taken using 3 bracketed shots but I think the dynamic range was too large. I was pleased I could adjust the shadows in LR. Don't worry about comments as this is a first attempt and not started from scratch.

You had to pay for photomatix though didn't you? Its good. - I had one version of it but it disappeared. Beautiful timber work here !

What a gorgeous space. Love the woodwork.

This combination of fisheye and bracketing makes for a visually intriguing image Pam. I like it. As for using Manual exposure, most if not all of the stuff I've watched and read recommend using Aperture Priority to keep the focal length constant.

Fun shot! Fisheye and natural -- sounds weird putting them together!

I like the HDR here but for me the fish eye wasn't the best choice here since odd things got cut off on the edges

I agree with Jane with the things cut off. But the HDR has brought out all the details in the woodwork.
