2017 01 30 - First composite

This is the first time I have tried to do a composite. Louise @weezilou said this image would look good with a man in it on the line. I didn't have any shots on a man which I could use so I though I would try adding Finlay to the picture. Finlay seemed to be floating a bit so I took it into Topaz Textures.

I would have liked him to be smaller and at the back of the image but I don't know how to make him smaller. More research to do.

Uploaded for my extras album
@weezilou Louise I didn't have a picture of "Johnny" so I used Finlay for my first attempt. I wanted to resize him and put him at the back of the shot. More research needed!! LOL!

Love it. For your first time, you did an amazing job! Finlay doesn't seem to mind being your model :)

I think it looks great, Finlay looks so cute standing at the side of the line. I like your vintage edit too. Great job

Very cool, nicely done

I love that you did this. I need to try doing more playing at processing things. It's usually fun

Great image. Although I know it's a composite, I still want to rush over and pick up the dog!

You did a great job. You cannot tell it is a composite.

Finlay! Look out for the train!!!

That's OK. Finley is a great substitute for a guy. Well done.

Works very well Pam. Good one.

That is cool with Finley - looks like he was actually there when you shot this.

Hope Finley gets out of the way if a train comes

Nice vintage looking photo! All you needed was someone tied to the tracks and then Finley would be coming to the rescue!

Excellent processing, did you do this in Photoshop?
January 31st, 2017
@onewing thanks Babs. I merged the 2 pics in PS and then did the textures in Topaz Texture Effects.

The proportion here looks perfect! Further back, he'd look too big for a Westie...I think you did an awesome job and I suspect NO ONE would find arguement with what you've done! Excellent! As son as it begins to come together and you have it worked out, then you'll want to throw the rules out the window and make it all disproportionate for fun!!!
