This is a classic fail!! I was trying to make Finlay into a line drawing but having clicked on every setting in PS this is what I ended up with. Back to the drawing board!! LOL!! Still playing - I put the frame on in Picmonkey. Best on black!!
I am bored - can you tell? It is too windy at the moment to go out into Storm Doris. This mornings venture was scary enough with bits of trees flying through the air. Finlay was not happy!! He will have to wait a while for his next walk!!
Love it, very clever. I must try this when I get a free day. there are lots of tutorials on YouTube on how to do line drawings. I do like what you have done here though even though you aren't sure how you achieved it, ha ha. It is always good to have a play on bad days.

@onewing thanks for the link Babs! The storm had passed by now and all is calm. Lots of trees blown down all over the country making travel very difficult and dangerous. Clear sky with stars now do back to the normal cold night and frosty morning . Much nicer!
You said it perfectly that one can't take Finlay's cuteness away!!! I don't consider this a fail at all...in tone and colouration it's sweetly old fashioned! Finlay looks like a child's toy! I start with tutorials and then begin tweaking them. The more you understand what the tutorial is doing, the better you can understand how to continue to adapt it. It's all fun-making!
