The Blue Hour 2 by pamknowler

The Blue Hour 2

Another blue hour image. The view as we came out of our hotel - London House Chicago - what a perfect situation - so central!! I loved the way the city seemed to glow as the lights came on. This is with my wide angle lens which gives the distortion.

Whatever your politics this is a fab building. Whenever Rosie and I were out and about when we were walking home as soon as we saw the tower we knew we were home!! A lovely sight to see when your ankles are swollen and feet aching!!

Best on black

I'm with @jgpittenger. For some reason unknown to me our news media is filled with stuff about Trump (mostly pretty derogatory). I strongly suspect the bare-bones newsrooms now depend the wire services but I'm well over The Donald. BUT, I do like your photo, the distortion works well and the colours are very eye-catching.

It is impressive architecture -- the poor building can't help who owned it I guess!
