First wild orchid

This is the first wild orchid I have spotted this year. It looks like they are just about to start blooming. I have taken the image into Topaz texture effects to let the orchid show itself.

I think this is a very tiny flower? You have captured its design so well - the orchid spots!

@maggiemae yes this was quite a small orchid. They are so pretty when fully opened with the spots on the petals.

No sure re the background...maybe a bit busy for my taste but the wild orchid is a stunner

@jgpittenger the background is the long grass which was hiding the orchid. I got rid of the bright green to isolate the flower but the texture was still visible if you see what I mean. Best I could do.
