A lovely day spent with Rosie @rosiekind. She had the warmest of welcomes from both George and Finlay when she arrived at my house. So funny to watch George trying to kiss her with Finlay getting in on the act too!! They love Rosie!!
We then went to Summer Leys and sat in the bird hide in the hope of seeing a bullfinch. Lots of birds busy feeding and we were pleased when a couple of male bullfinches turned up with their mates. This is a collage showing a few of the birds seen - A Great tit, a Chaffinch, a Goldfinch and finally a Bullfinch.
It was a lovely sunny morning but very cold in the hide with the wind coming straight off the lake. We went to The Aviator at Sywell Airport where Rosie treated me to a wonderful lunch. We quickly warmed up!! What a lovely day and another great 365 catchup!!
I saw your collage on the PP. I love birds and take many pictures. I've heard of bullfinches, but I've never seen one until just now. thanks for sharing.
