I looked out of the window this morning and saw the drive was covered with white feathers. I went out to get a closer look - I had first thought it was white petals but no definitely feathers. No body but signs of blood on some of the feathers. What bird was this? A pigeon? Not sure as there are no grey feathers. A seagull? We do have lots flying overhead even though we are as far from the sea as you can get. Whatever bird it was it came to a messy end probably from one of the many cats we have around us.
