Many thanks for all your nice comments. For those who know Paris the metro is underground except few parts. This picture has been taken above at the subway exit, behind railings that overlook the lanes.

Love this picture of the long streight rails and the beautiful fence. what an expense for the city. but it looks great. I'm always amazed at the cleanliness of Europe not a dropped piece of trash or was this at an erea where people dont get close to the fence. I know you took the picture from above, yes. another nice one.
